It is hard to believe that we have all ready completed the 2009 Dune Cleanup. Once again we had support from our major sponsors as well some new ones AND a lot of familiar faces out in the crowd bringing it all in. We were happy to see everyone come together once more to take part in this extraordinary experience.

Arrival & Setup

As in years past most of our group arrived Thursday to start prepping for the event. One of our families ran into some mechanical issues on their drive down from Gig Harbor, Washington. They had their truck towed into a nearby shop and thankfully were able to rely on a friend to haul their trailer the rest of the way from Longview, Washington. They demonstrated a serious sense of perseverance and proved just how important this event is too them.

 

Then of course we have the devotion of our Southern California members who drive up from Hayward, Rohnert Park and Redding and how about those “local” members. They come in from Vancouver, Portland, Beaverton, Boring and Lakeside!
