Saturday started off a little overcast and on the colder side. It didn’t stop the riders from hitting one of their favorite spots though. We began our day at the Umpqua River Lighthouse Staging area for set up. The booth was set up and the trailer was parked for collection. Signage was the next step. Members of the group were directing riders in off of Salmon Harbor drive through the day use lot to get their bags and more information on how the day would progress. |
| Then we staged members at the entrance to the access road coming from the Half Moon Bay campground. This turned out to be a prime spot for us since we were able to get traffic from Discovery Point and the Half Moon campground. It was almost too perfect. Others members were seen driving out to the third parking lot to hand out bags and we even had a trailer hooked to one of quads that hit all the parking lots and went into the actual campgrounds. No one could hide from the Wizards this year! |  |
