Our member "Desracers" attended the 2nd annual Four Stroke Wars in Glamis, California this past Martin Luther King weekend. Unfortunately, 4th gear in his newly rebuilt transmission grenaded about 30 minutes into his 1st ride of this year. Desracers bike has been built to run in the "Best of the Desert" off road series and he had just recently upgraded the tranny to eliminate the risks and problems with the 2001 (first year) Raptor transmission's. This is his second time that he has lost a Tranny in his Raptor. This time, when 4th gear let go, it went right through the top of his case. Desracers ride for Glamis, was toast.
