Footpeg Review:

On to the Footpeg:
These newly designed footpegs were developed from one of the premier chassis builders (Doug Roll) within the ATV industry. These are available in two styles, a kick-up version and a standard flat version. They are made from 17-4 cast stainless steel that undergoes a heat- treating process to
assure strength. They come with the most incredible combination of a black powder coating and high gloss polished finish. Roll design defiantly had safety in mind when they created the kick-up version of this peg. The vertically sloped end of the footpeg assures that your foot won't slip off the peg during body weight distribution. The patented three rung design has raised teeth to keep your boots from sliding around on the pegs. The kick-up & the raised teeth allow you to fully counter act your weight to the ATV's traveling direction in which is not easy to accomplish on a stock peg.

Installation:
Roll Design's footpegs are a snap to install. Once you have your stock pegs removed, these pegs will only fit in one direction so there is now mistaking the left from right side. Simply line up the pegs mount holes with your frame hole and thread the bolts securely back into place. Its that easy. These pegs are also already pre-drilled to make mounting them with nerf bars easier. Total installation time (without nerfs) is estimated at 10 minutes.

Wizard Notes & Conclusion:
We have three riders (4 bikes total) in our group that have purchased & installed these footpegs on their ride(s). For me personally, I was never so excited to receive these in the mail when I ordered them on-line. Upon receiving these, I was blown away by the overall quality. Not only were these much more heavy duty and of a better quality than I was expecting, but they were also super trick looking as well. These footpegs with the larger base greatly improved my sense of security while riding. I can honestly say that I have a much greater secure footing and control over my ride. I'm now able to use more weight distribution while jumping, cornering, and traveling at higher speeds over the whoops. These pegs in combination with a good set of riding boots will make you a better rider. Plain and simple.

In closing, it is commonly known that many ATV enthusiasts have a hard time convincing themselves to drop the bucks for a set of these pegs. (I did as well because they are a bit on the spendy side). However, until you have ridden with a set of these mounted on your bike, you will not be able to put in perspective how much of a safer, faster, better rider they will make you :) .

Great job Roll Design. Thanks again for another solid product for the ATV rider.
